Design, branding, and illustration services based in the Tetons

Formerly Do Something Kreative

design inspired by nature, made for humans.

Every brand is unique and deserves one-of-a-kind, compelling design to tell their story.

That’s why I started Kia Creative—to help small businesses, startups, and nonprofits bring their vision to life through personal, visual storytelling.

  • Start on the right foot or refresh your branding with a visual identity that wows and resonates with your core values and audiences. I offer several different branding packages depending on your goals and budget.

  • Sometimes the best way to tell your story is through visual elements. I love nothing more than dreaming up custom illustrations with clients. Add a personal touch with illustrated elements that are truly unique and celebrate your brand.

  • I started my career in editorial design and still believe there is a place in the world for well-designed print pieces. Whether you are a looking for an annual report, poster, or invitation, let me help you create clean, innovative designs that help you stand out in a crowd and inspire action.

  • When not at my computer, I love creating custom watercolor art. I specialize in landscapes and accept a limited number of commissions each year.

Kia Tolan, graphic designer and illustrator of Kia Creative in Driggs, Idaho

hi, i’m kia.

Pronounced “Kaya" like the Bob Marley song, not like the car company.

I’m a graphic designer and illustrator based in Teton Valley, Idaho.

My design aesthetic is inspired by the incredible outdoor spaces I get to call home—organic, purposeful, and connected to the greater ecosystem.

I love to partner with humans and organizations who are on a mission to make the world a more beautiful place.

“Kia is a creative genius and a highly responsive designer.”
